Uchiwa Chair by Hay

Designed by Doshi Levien. Uchiwa is a capacious armchair, taking its soft and open shape from the traditional Japanese hand fan. Generous and inviting, new and familiar at the same time, the armchair comes in two upholstered versions: in a softer, quilted model for a more domestic look and in moulded foam for more demanding contexts.
The base is available in Lacquered or Black Lacquered Oak - all lacquers are water-based.
Matching Ottoman also available.

Made to order in a wide choice of fabric types and colours (see a list under ‘Details’). Fabrics are priced in ‘Groups’. Simply select the appropriate price Group and then add a note of your fabric choice at checkout or email us.
