Ildane (Firebird in Norweigan) is a cast iron candle stick combining influences from old and new - part Viking, part French Nouveau. Originally designed for a restaurant and brewery in downtown Oslo called Nedre Foss Gard this candlestick has a wonderful sculptural quality and truth to materials.

Anderssen & Voll

Oslo-based studio Anderssen & Voll was established in 2009, by Torbjørn Anderssen and Espen Voll – who were also founders of the former Norway Says.

The pair work within various fields, but with a focus on domestic objects that covers everything from textile design and tableware to lighting and furniture. Playing a key role in the new Nordic design movement, the pair has created pieces for brands including Muuto, Menu and Hay, and have been named both Norwegian and Scandinavian designers of the year.
