SOWDEN
SOWDEN was founded in 2010 by British-born, Milan-based designer George Sowden, a founding member of Memphis. In 2020, the SHADES collection was released, a series of lighting inspired by the extraordinary potential of soft silicone.
With recent EU proposals regarding the Right to Repair, SOWDEN Lighting has been designed with environmental responsibility in mind - the SOWDEN LED DISC, a light source that can be unscrewed and changed, and the 18650 2600mAh lithium-ion rechargeable batteries for portable lighting can also be easily replaced when necessary.
