Woodnotes

Woodnotes

Woodnotes is a Finnish design company founded in 1987 by textile designer Ritva Puotila and her son Mikko Puotila, who still own the company today.
The original concept of Woodnotes was to combine Finnish raw materials with the creativity and craftsmanship inspired by the country's rugged natural beauty.

Woodnotes is the first company in the world to use paper yarn in a contemporary way in functional textiles, not just as a substitute but to make the most of its unique characteristics.
