The bold and sculptural Baker Sofa designed in 1951 with its two-piece backrest became Finn Juhl’s American debut. The Baker Sofa is masterfully manufactured with a wooden frame in oak or walnut. The upholstery is all hand sewn in textile or leather, with springs in the cushion, providing maximum comfort and durability.
The sofa has an upholstered body resting upon an elegant and light construction of wood – a typical example of how Finn Juhl separated furniture elements in order to create a visual lightness. The sofa is very comfortable offering support in all the right places and manufactured according to best craftsmanship traditions with hand-sewn upholstery.
