Designed by Hans J Wegner. An attractive and simple stackable dining chair designed by Hans J. Wegner in 1956. When Carl Hansen & Søn put the CH20 Elbow Chair into production for the first time in 2005, it quickly established itself as a modern classic, winning the ICFF Editors' Award in New York.
The Elbow Chair's signature steam-bent backrest, crafted from a single piece of solid wood, provides elbow and lower back support and enables a variety of sitting positions. The frame is available in either solid Beech or Oak in a variety of finishes.

Carl Hansen & Søn
Carl Hansen opened his furniture workshop in Denmark in 1908 and soon became known for the high quality of his work. From one off production the company gradually began to produce small series of its most popular pieces. This combination of hand craftsmanship and rational series production soon became the firm's hallmark - and continues to set it apart today.
Carl Hansen & Søn is the largest manufacturer of furniture designed by Hans J. Wegner and also produces outstanding furniture classics by some of Denmark's most influential architects such as Mogens Koch, Kaare Klint and Ole Wanscher.
