Designed by Jason Miller. Classon Bedside Chest transcends time, its modern form featuring rich detailing that nods to a more traditional American aesthetic. Polished bronze drawer pulls and legs elegantly complement the cabinet body available in a range of timbers and finishes and painted HDF. 
Two generous drawers, detailed with dovetail joinery and a soft-close mechanism provide generous storage for bedside items.

The painted HDF finish requires a labour-intensive process. The painted panels have 10 layers applied to each panel: 2 layers of pore sealer, 4 layers of primer, 2 layers of paint, and 2 layers of clear lacquer. Each layer must dry for 24 hours before the next layer is applied.
To achieve the gloss finish, once all layers are applied, the surface is then polished by hand which is a delicate and time consuming operation.
