From the beginning of his career, Hans J. Wegner was fascinated by designing rocking chairs. As a result, the CH45 Rocking Chair in solid, FSC-certified oak is perfectly proportioned, so one can sit relaxed and rock easily, but can also rise effortlessly from the chair.

Carl Hansen & Søn

Carl Hansen opened his furniture workshop in Denmark in 1908 and soon became known for the high quality of his work. From one off production the company gradually began to produce small series of its most popular pieces. This combination of hand craftsmanship and rational series production soon became the firm's hallmark - and continues to set it apart today.
