Designed by Charles and Ray Eames. Along with new, fresh outdoor-friendly powdercoating colours for the wire construction, Vitra is now adding the Eames Wire Chair LKR (Lounge Knotted Steel Rod Base) to the chair family in collaboration with the Eames Office. Charles and Ray Eames used different versions of this compact chair – both indoors and out – at their legendary home in Pacific Palisades, the Eames House.

LKR Chairs with powdercoated legs are suitable for outdoor use.

Like all other models in the Wire Chair family by Vitra, the LKR is also available with a seat cushion (LKR-5) or with a two-piece cushion – also known as the 'Bikini' due to its shape (LKR-2). Please contact us for more information and pricing on these variants.
