This new chair is a warm and elegant combination of solid wood, upholstery, and natural paper cord formed into a rounded, organic shape.
The seat and back are padded so firmly that the upholstery remains smooth and crease-free. The back of the chair features a threaded paper cord backrest - a design feature that gives the lounge chair a sense of lightness while also visually linking it back to its big sister - the Sideways Sofa.

Carl Hansen opened his furniture workshop in Denmark in 1908 and soon became known for the high quality of his work.
