Uchiwa is a generous and inviting armchair, taking its soft and open shape from the traditional Japanese hand fan.
The armchair comes in two upholstered versions: a quilted model and non quilted for a cleaner look.
Details
Uniquely for Uchiwa is the possibility to select different upholstery for front or back of the chair. You can choose from one of HAY's preselected combinations, or choose your own from the wide range of HAY fabric and leather ranges.

*Note Front upholstery in leather is not available for Uchiwa Quilted.
Standard nylon gliders are included with this furniture as standard, for carpeted or other textile flooring. Felt glides prevent scratching of hard flooring and also reduce noise when moving furniture - you can purchase these separately here.
Materials
Quilted shell with moulded HR polyurethane foam with a wadding layer for extra volume. Front upholstery in California, Nevada and Sierra is not available.
4 leg base in solid oak wood - natural or black lacquered.
