Daystak Table RD2 by Robin Day

Designed by Robin Day. Designed in 1951, the Daystak Table exemplifies Robin Day’s meticulous attention to detail and celebration of the material at hand. Showcasing the same striking, A-shaped legs as the Daystak Side Chair and Desk, this stackable table sits in tandem with the rest of the collection to create a distinctly mid-century ensemble.

Born and raised in the furniture making town of High Wycombe, Robin Day (1915-2010) grew up surrounded by timber yards and cabinetmaking workshops. Robin and his wife Lucienne Day (textile designer and artist) are often compared with their American contemporaries, Charles and Ray Eames.
