VLA62 Radio House Mirror
Carl Hansen & Søn
Designed by Vilhelm Lauritzen.
The VLA62 Radio House Mirror was designed in 1945 exclusively for the Royal Retiring Room at the Radio House in Copenhagen, now the Royal Danish Academy of Music.
Carl Hansen & Søn is releasing the mirror for 2024, in collaboration with Vilhelm Lauritzen Architects.
Crafted from FSC-certified solid, oiled oak for a more contemporary, Nordic aesthetic, this full-length mirror is assembled from eight carved pieces that are matched to ensure the distinctive grain is continuous. Sanded by hand for a smooth, tactile finish, a deep, concave frame features organic corners that almost embrace the mirror.
Prepared for vertical wall-mounting.
