In his first design for HAY, designer Philippe Malouin has created the Mimi sofa collection. A defining feature of the designs are their precisely tailored and removable slipcovers, which drape over the frame like a soft blanket to create Mimi's distinctive aesthetic.
Easy to remove for cleaning or replacement, the cover is designed to support everyday practicality while also extending the life of the sofa.
For the 2026 launch the Mimi collection includes a 1-Seater Armchair, Ottoman and loose Cushions plus Sofas in 2, 2.5 and 3-Seater sizes. All are available in an edited selection of HAY upholstery fabrics (see the full list under Details tab below)

Materials
Frame in Hardwood plywood and solid pine wood.
Seat Back and Armrests – Polyurethane foam and duvet with 30% recycled fibre filling
and 70% granulated foam filling. Wadding cover with cotton back.
Gliders in Black polypropylene.
