Lampe Cabanon by Nemo

Lampe Cabanon

Nemo

Designed by Le Corbusier. The 1959 Lampe Cabanon is named after the architect Le Corbusier's cabin on the French Riviera. The design was inspired by a wartime mortar shell carrier found on the beach.

The lamp, for which numerous sketches and designs exist, represents a moment of rebirth in the post-war world. The shade itself is constructed from architectural tracing paper.
