Designed by Charles and Ray Eames, the seat shell of the Wire Chair echoes the form of the Eames Plastic Side Chair. Mounted on the legendary 'Eiffel Tower' base, the DKR combines transparency and functionality.
Powdercoated DKR Chairs are suitable for indoor and outdoor use.

Like all other models in the Wire Chair family by Vitra, the DKR is also available with a fitted seat cushion (DKR-5) or with a two-piece cushion – also known as the 'Bikini' due to its shape (DKR-2). Please contact us for more information and pricing on these variants.

Materials / Finishes
Seat shell in bent and welded steel wire, chrome-plated or powder-coated. The powder-coated version is suitable for outdoor use.
Four-legged base with cross struts, surface finish matched to seat shell.
Comes with nylon glides for carpet or felt glides for hard floors. We will supply with felt glides as standard unless you inform us you prefer nylon glides.
