HAL RE Wood Chair by Vitra

HAL RE Wood Chair

Vitra

Designed by Jasper Morrison. HAL RE Wood features a seat shell made of recycled plastic and base in solid wood. Utilising recycled material from household waste instead of conventional plastic generates less climate-damaging emissions, with a reduction in energy consumption. Due to the composition of the recycled material, the different colours are interspersed with tiny specks of pigment, giving the seat shells a certain natural appearance and a warm inviting appeal – especially when combined with the characteristic wooden legs in the version HAL RE Wood.

Seat Upholstery available in Vitra Hopsak fabrics - add a note of your colour choice at checkout or email us to confirm.

Jasper Morrison

British designer Jasper Morrison set up his Office for Design in 1986, and saw some of his earliest designs produced by brands including Aram, SCP and Cappellini, later going on to collaborate with Alessi, Flos and Magis. However his work isn’t confined to the domestic sphere, spanning several categories including transport and exhibition design, as well as town planning.

Morrison has held solo exhibitions around the world, and continues to partner with the likes of Muji, Camper and Established & Sons through his studio, which has offices in London, Tokyo and Paris.
