Designed by Ilse Crawford. Part of Ilse Crawford's wider Seating for Eating family of furniture, the 448 Bench is reassuringly familiar. Sized to accommodate 2 people seated, but multi-functional in spirit. Inspired by English vernacular furniture.
A 3-seater Low Bench is available separately.

The optional fabric or leather seat pad softens the seating area. Two holes spaced lengthwise across the centre of the seat allow a seat pad to be secured. The bench can be ordered with or without these holes.
