BMO699 Asserbo Bench with Backrest By Børge Mogensen
Carl Hansen & Søn
Designed by Børge Mogensen.
Relaunched for 2022, the Asserbo Series comprises a table and bench made of solid, dark-oiled eucalyptus - originally designed for Børge Mogensen's own holiday home in Asserbo, Denmark.
The rounded shapes and visible brushed brass screws give the series an informal aesthetic, and the visual clarity and strong structure clearly allude to the Shaker style. The materials speak for themselves.
The Asserbo Benches can be ordered unupholstered, or with upholstered seat cushions in either Gabriel Crisp 4115, Gabriel Crisp 4123 or Kvadrat Recheck 0875.
The pieces from the new Asserbo collection include BMO698 Asserbo Table, BMO699 Asserbo Bench with Backrest, BMO700 Asserbo Bench & BMO701 Asserbo Wall-mounted backrest.
