It is not difficult to see how the designer drew inspiration from 17th century ship cannons as he created the Carronade lamp series.
The lamp rests on a smooth wooden base, aided by small brass discs on either side. When used as a wall or table lamp, the dual purpose solid wood base enables the user to rotate the spotlight position in numerous directions.
