Designed by Hans J Wegner. The CH29 chair, also known as 'Sawbuck' after the sawbucks or saw horses traditionally used by carpenters and woodcutters, was originally designed in 1952.
It became an immediate success thanks to its organic, comfort-driven design and unique visual aesthetic.
An upholstered seat provides even more comfort for dining or working.

The frame is available in either solid Beech or Oak in a variety of finishes.

Carl Hansen & Søn

Carl Hansen opened his furniture workshop in Denmark in 1908 and soon became known for the high quality of his work.
