In line with HAY's core values of creating functional, affordable furniture - the iconic J-series in solid, long-lasting wood is now updated for 2023 in contemporary colours and finishes. Originally 'designed for the people' by FDB (The Danish Consumers Co-op Society) in the 1940s, these chairs are genuinely timeless.
Børge Mogensen’s classic J42 Chair has precise proportions with simple horizontal and vertical lines used to construct a curved spindled backrest and angular armrests. For version without armrests, please see J41 Chair listed separately.
Add a J42 cushion to your chair for extra comfort.
Requires some simple assembly - standard and felt gliders are available for this chair.
