In the design of Journal, practical usage is addressed by discrete functional details. The desktop has an integrated wire grommet, while a steel drawer under the desktop provides space for office supplies.
The little details of Journal help to create a pleasant environment in which good ideas can flow freely. The desk is suitably small, so that it doesn't take up too much space.
