Designed by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec. The Kaari collection is the first collaboration between Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec and the Finnish design company Artek. The collection consists of simple shelving, a desk, a wall console and tables.
The design combines solid wood with steel banding to create a distinctive yet understated design.

Table top: Black HPL (laminate) and Black linoleum.
Base : solid natural oak with protective varnish or black stained oak with protective varnish and black coated steel.

Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec
Ronan (born 1971) and Erwan Bouroullec (born 1976) are brothers and designers based in Paris and have been working together since 1998.
Ronan is a graduate of the École Supérieure Des Arts Décoratifs in Paris and Erwan attended the École Nationale Supérieure Des Arts in Cergy before starting their own studio.
Together Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec have transformed the design industry and offered new perspectives of materiality and purpose.
The duos designs' are part of select international museums’ permanent collections such as the Musée National d’Art Moderne – Centre Pompidou and the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Design Museum in London, and the Museum Boijmans van Beuningen in Rotterdam.
