Originally designed in the 1950s, the Seal became one of designer Ib Kofod-Larsen’s best-known designs. Audo now reissues this iconic chair in both a Low Back and High Back model, as well as the elegant matching Seal Ottoman.
A prime example of Ib Kofod-Larsen’s organic design style, The Seal’s angled frame and armrests and soft upholstery put comfort to the fore, inviting lounging.
Named after the Swedish ski resort, Sälen, and not the animal, The Seal has both lightness and stability - the shell appears to float inside the solid wooden frame. Understated yet highly detailed.
Pair with the matching Seal Ottoman for even more comfort.
